Table Dividers for Restaurants
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Restaurants in the UK are emerging from lockdown and re-opening their businesses in accordance with UK Government Guidelines.
In order to comply with the UK Government’s COVID-19 recovery strategy for safe re-opening, Restaurants, Cafes, Hotels, Coffee Shops, Catering and Hospitality venues will need to adjust their businesses in response to COVID-19 and ensure they implement safe, effective solutions to protect their staff and customers.
Perspex Screens, Queuing Barriers, Sneeze screens, table screens, adherence to the 2-metre rule and increased hygiene and sanitation procedures are essential products and procedures, whilst maintaining strict Social Distancing Rules.
Social Distancing Screens for Restaurants are necessary to divide tables, separate diners, and guide customers through your Restaurant dining area safely. Direct customers for safe restroom use, queuing at the bar or welcome / reception areas, and ensure waiting staff and seated customers meet social distancing requirements.
Perspex Screens for Restaurants can be easily put in place and are either freestanding partitions, clear table dividers, or Sneeze Screens for cashier and till pay points. Available with bottom cut out sections, pass-through hatches for safe handling of money or card machines for contactless payments.
Freestanding Perspex Glass Screens for Restaurants can be used to divide tables and chairs in larger dining areas, allowing more tables and increasing your potential amount of covers. Glass screens can be used to separate kitchens, dining rooms, and service areas. Table Dividers attach to either the sides or front of the table to create safe seating booths and are high enough to cover faces from coughs or sneezes, helping prevent the spread of germs and viruses.
Glass and clear plastic materials allow light through and maintain visibility, which can be less claustrophobic for diners compared to wooden screens or fabric partitions. Transparent screens may maintain the ambiance of the Restaurant and are easier to clean and wipe down.
XL Displays also offer a large selection of signage, hand sanitiser wash stations, freestanding poster display frames, and noticeboards to communicate your Restaurants Social Distancing procedures, advertise that you are open and direct customers to reassure them that you are operating a COVID-19 safe Restaurant and may minimise potential whistleblowers or prosecution.
In addition to our range of Restaurant protection screens, there are many new innovative ideas Restaurants can consider, including single-use disposable menus, contactless ordering via an App, forehead thermometer temperature checks, contactless payments, and tipping and service and waiting staff wearing face masks and disposable gloves.
It is a challenging time for Restaurants, Catering, Hospitality, and Hotel businesses in the UK following COVID-19. Table distancing screens and Sneeze Guards can play an important part in a bigger strategy of due diligence, safety and cleaning procedures, and effective Restaurant management.
