Freestanding Office Screens
What are FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions?
The FRONTIER® Freestanding partitions are linkable office screens that can be used in almost any setting where a divider is needed. Most frequently, freestanding fabric screens are set up between chairs or tables to provide a level of privacy for workers. In addition, because our FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions can be linked together (using the two end trims supplied, which double as rigid inline linking strips), you can create temporary ‘walls’ to create mini cubicles or separate off different office ‘zones’ for meetings or recreational spaces.
What are the FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions made of?
The internal core of these upright screens is made from a 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore, with 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces glued around it using a water-based adhesive. Next, a layer of fire-rated Macflex fabric (available in 8 colour options) is upholstered on both sides of the panel screen. Finally, your screen is finished with a 30mm thick full aluminium frame in white or silver. The FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions are each supplied with a choice of two T-bar stabilising feet or round disc feet.
What size are the FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions?
The FRONTIER® Office Screens come in four heights; 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm or 1800mm, and six widths; 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm.
Are FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions linkable?
Each office partition is supplied with two inline linking strips that are inserted into the aluminium frame extrusion. The linking strip doubles up as a finishing strip (when not used to link two screens together) and sits flush within the frame to create a neat finish.
In addition to straight linking, you can add a junction post that enables 2,3 or 4 panel screens to be linked in 90-degree angles from t-shape or x-shapes.
Are FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions fire rated?
The FRONTIER® range is finished with a layer of fire-rated fabric. The fabric used is MacFlex Mac-182 fabric; a 100% Polypropylene woven material that is fire-rated and certified fire-retardant to BS 476 Part 7 Class 1; BS EN 1021-1:2014 (cigarette); BSEN 13501-1 Adhered Class B,s2, d0; BS EN 13501-1 Un-adhered Class D, s1, d2. These certifications make our FRONTIER® screens safe to use in schools, libraries, offices and other public buildings.
Can I sanitise my FRONTIER® Free Standing Office Partitions?
While you cannot sanitise fabric screens in the same way as you would a Perspex or glass divider, there are still options available that you can use to keep your screens as hygienic as possible. Look for fabric sprays or odour removal sprays with antibacterial components, as these can be a good alternative to traditional antibacterial or bleach-based cleaning sprays which are not suitable for use on fabric screens.
To keep your screens looking neat and tidy, you can vacuum them regularly, and remove any stains with a damp cloth using soap and water (or use upholstery shampoo). For a deep clean you can use a steam cleaner.
