ACHOO^® Perspex Screens

Many of our models of protective screens are manufactured with genuine Perspex®, sourced for the UK. These models will be designated as such. Other models of ACHOO® Screens are manufactured with acrylic or with toughened safety glass sourced from either the UK or Europe. All manufacturing is done in either the UK.

Select models in our range of ACHOO® Screens can be optioned with thermally toughened Safety Glass, which is impact tested to British Standard: BS 6206: 1981 - Class A. We source our glass from Pilkington® and Saint-Gobain®.

Perspex® Screens and Sneeze Guards do not kill Coronovirus (COVID-19). Screens can only form a physical barrier between people in situations where correct social distancing is harder to enforce. By forming a barrier shield, the surface of the screen stops direct airborne viruses from spreading onto another person in a situation where any germs have a direct trajectory. For example, during sneezing, coughing, singing etc. 

ACHOO® Screens should be used in conjunction with social distancing guidelines, hand washing and hygiene, facemasks and regular sanitisation of areas. With correct procedures in place, Screens can help mitigate the potential for COVID-19 infection to spread.

COVID-19 is spread via micro droplets in the air from infected people and Perspex® social distancing screens, such as the ACHOO® Screens, may stop the likelihood of the virus covering your hands, face or contact surfaces.

Protective ACHOO® Screens can play an important part in a larger programme of safety measures if installed correctly and used in conjunction with thorough hygiene procedures and adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Our ACHOO® Screens are new and made to order specifically for you. We don't currently offer our screens for hire or lease. As ACHOO® Screens are demountable; Sneeze Screens can be easily removed from one office and readily reassembled or repositioned into another location, giving you a long service life and flexible longevity.

It is highly likely that COVID-19 will be around in 2021 and maybe longer. We will have to adapt how we work and operate businesses in the long term. Perspex®, acrylic or plastic material can be more susceptible to scratching than glass so we advise you clean your Sneeze Screens carefully with soft, dedicated cloths.

Soft microfiber towels are ideal, or use a dedicated glass cleaning cloth, which is often a waffle weave construction. Remove all brand labels from the cloths as these can cause scratching and marring.

We recommend using two cloths, one to apply the cleaning product and the other cloth to buff to a smear free finish. Spray the cleaning solution into the first microfiber towel and wipe the surface of the screen. As the cleaner solution starts to dry, quickly buff the surface with the second, clean and dry cloth, to remove the cleaning residue and leave a streak free finish.

There are many glass cleaners available, which will work, and Isopropyl Alcohol is ideal for plastic and glass as it kills germs and viruses.

Our ACHOO® Screens and office screens are supplied with either a 1, 2 or 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects. We offer a 100% customer satisfaction warranty - if you are not happy, we will fix it. It is that simple.
