Acoustic Screens For Offices
What are FRONTIER® Acoustic Panel Screens Freestanding Partitions made from?
At the core of our FRONTIER® Acoustic Panel Screens Freestanding Partitions is a 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore, lined with 2.5mm MDF on either side and backed in a layer of 18mm-thick sound absorbing acoustic foam. The office screen is then finished with a layer of woven Macflex fabric (in a choice of 8 colours) and a 30mm thick full aluminium frame in white or silver.
Choose from 2x stabilising feet or round disc feet for stability.
Do FRONTIER® Acoustic Panel Screens help reduce office noise?
To a certain extent, all fabric furnishings in an office will help to reduce noise pollution by minimising the ability of sound to bounce off hard, shiny surfaces. Acoustic panels take this one step further, however, as the layer of sound-absorbing foam helps to stop soundwaves in their tracks, preventing noise from travelling throughout a space. As a result, acoustic panels are more effective at creating a peaceful and productive office environment, which is why they are a more popular choice for busy workplaces than standard fabric screens.
What sizes do the FRONTIER® Acoustic Panel Screens Freestanding Partitions come in?
The FRONTIER® Office Screens are available in four different heights; 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm, and six different widths; 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm.
Can I link two screens together?
The FRONTIER® Free Standing Partitions are linkable. They are supplied with two inline linking strips so you can join multiple screens together in a straight line. If they are not linked, then the linking strips act as a finishing strip by inserting it into the aluminium profile for a flush finish.
If you want to form mini ‘cubicles’ for your employees, or meeting room areas for increased privacy and acoustic protection you can use a junction post that enables 2, 3 or 4 acoustic panel screens to be linked together at a 90-degree angle, cross or t-shape configuration.
Have the FRONTIER® Acoustic Panel Screens Freestanding Partitions been tested and certified?
The 18mm thick acoustic form used for the FRONTIER® Acoustic Panel Screens has been tested and certified. The sound-absorbing acoustic foam layer is tested by SRL to BSEN ISO 354, and its NRC (Noise reduction coefficient) inferred result from SRL is 0.43 (based upon test reports 1306-1040 to 1042 and C/23213/T01).
Are FRONTIER® Acoustic Panel Screens Freestanding Partitions wipeable?
Dust and other dirt can be removed easily by vacuuming, or gently sponging the fabric with a damp cloth and soap/upholstery shampoo. If you need a more thorough wash, then we recommend investing in a steam cleaner or getting the panels professionally dry cleaned.
