Free Standing Vaccination Screen
The XL Displays Mobile Protective Arm Vaccination Screen has been developed and manufactured to give medical practitioners a physical barrier between patients when administering vaccinations, arm injections, or taking blood samples when both staff and patients are either sitting down or standing. The screen is height adjustable. Designed for large-scale vaccination programs when time is critical and large numbers of people need vaccinating every day.
This protective screen is exclusive to XL Displays and has been designed in the UK with the primary function of supporting the NHS in administering a Government program of nationwide Flu vaccinations and a COVID-19 vaccination roll-out when a vaccine is ready for deployment.
Constructed with an aluminium frame, the protection screen is fully portable and mobile and is supported by lockable castor wheels. The Vaccination Screen is 2m high by 800mm wide. The acrylic screen is cut vertically, with an access gap of 250mm wide by 600mm high allowing sideways arm insertion for patients from 4' 6" to 6' 6" in height if standing when set at its highest position. The vaccine screen is height adjustable and can be lowered to accommodate seated patients. Loosen the four Allen bolts to adjust the height of the screen/cut-out and then re-tighten when the desired position is achieved.
Patients stand or sit perpendicular to the screen with their exposed arm and have easy access to place their upper arms close into the gap. Injections and vaccinations can be administered through the access panel whilst retaining a physical barrier, reducing the risk of contamination and infection between patients and medical staff.
The Vaccination Screen can be sanitised when required, either between patients or on a schedule to retain hygiene. The Acrylic screen is wipeable and the frame is Aluminium, which is easy to clean and is non-porous.
