Ensuring Your Products Stand Out

Have you ever wondered why some products look more appealing than others when displayed in a certain way? Presentation is key and sometimes more important than the actual product itself. While one product may look really appealing at one store, the same may not even get noticed at another, however with the right presentation the product will have an edge over its competitors and will sell itself.

What does presentation mean and how do we get it right? Well, the presentation/display includes everything from the setting, lighting, colouring and also the salesperson and each element is as important as the next. Small products e.g. jewellery, watches and craft items need to be highlighted and spotlights are a great way of achieving this, especially with shiny objects like jewellery as it will make the product sparkle. Ensure that the spotlights are subtle as you do not want to overpower the display area as it will then distract the eye from the products.

While display stands do make a product look more elegant, a brightly coloured or excessively shiny display stand would rather distract a person looking at the product and make the product look less charming. The display stand you choose will play a vital role in how the product is displayed, so the next question to ask is which display stand is best for me?

Tabletop Display Boards

Tabletop display boards are ideal for displaying smaller object like jewellery where space is limited, the idea is to have your products displayed on the tabletop and then position the desktop stand at the back of the table with the smaller items then attached to the display boards as well. Clip on spotlights can be used to enhance your products making your display stand out in the crowd.

Modular Display Boards

Whether you are going to trade shows or holding a photographic exhibition the modular display boards are extremely versatile as you are able to add and subtract the amount of boards according to the space that you have available. A wide variety of colours are available to choose from, a light colour is always good for display photographs and images whilst a black or royal blue is fantastic backdrop for displaying jewellery and craft items.

Roller Banner Stands

Having a well positioned and well designed roller banner stand is like having an unpaid salesman shouting your message to all visitors that will walk past your exhibition stand. They are space efficient only taking up minimal amount of valuable floor area sizes are typically 800-1200mm wide and 2100mm high, the roller banner stands (AKA pull up stands) are also extremely lightweight and portable and each stand comes complete with its own carry case.

Pop-up Display Stands

A pop-up is perfect when you need to cover a large backdrop area the stands start at 2 metres wide and will carry on indefinitely (or as big as your venue will allow) the best way to cover a large area is to link the stands together. By utilising the portable carry case that comes with the stand by adding a wooden top you have created a counter top which is ideal for displaying your leaflets or just to use as a focal point.
