Internal Notice Boards
Internal noticeboards are manufactured for use indoors. You can choose from many types of indoor notice boards – including our bestselling fire rated notice board range.
Fire retardant noticeboards feature a flame resistant core and fire rated felt. We recommend these noticeboards for use in areas with over 25 people present – particularly schools, colleges, hospitals and public institutions.
All of our fire resistant notice boards have the highest certifications attainable from either UK fire safety regulators, European fire safety regulators, or both.
This means FlameShield fire retardant notice boards will not contribute to or accelerate the spread of a fire, making them the safest option available.
Alternatively, we provide non-fire-rated notice boards which are ideal for use in smaller offices and areas with less than 25 people.
Both fire rated and non-fire-resistant notice boards can typically be split into three main categories: unframed, aluminium framed and tamperproof.
Unframed notice boards are a great, cost-effective display solution and are commonly found in schools.
The felt wraps around all four edges of the board, creating a flush finish. The major benefit of unframed noticeboards is that the edges can be butted together to create a large notice board bespoke to your available space.
Aluminium framed notice boards feature a sleek aluminium trim that complements the fabric of the board. This type of presentation board is popular within office and workplace environments.
Tamperproof noticeboards are the best choice for unsupervised public areas. They have a lockable door which protects unauthorised hands from tampering with or vandalising the display. Hospitals, community centres and colleges are typically lined with tamperproof displays.
In addition to these three types of notice boards, we also manufacture free standing notice boards which are perfect for nurseries, home offices and one-to-one tutoring areas. Mounted on locking castor wheels, free standing notice boards can effortlessly be transported from one location to another with minimum hassle.
External noticeboards
In order to display something outdoors, you will need a specialist external notice board.
External notice boards are essentially weatherproof versions of tamperproof noticeboards.
The airtight seal around the board – combined with the lockable doors – ensure external noticeboards are equipped to withstand wind, rain, UV rays, dust and unwanted interference from unauthorised personnel.
There are two types of outdoor notice boards: wall mounted and post mounted.
Wall mounted boards work in the same way as internal noticeboards and can be attached to railings, fencing, brick walls and more. Wall mounted noticeboards are used everywhere – from supermarkets and colleges to theatres and leisure centres. You can choose from correx, magnetic or pinnable interiors; therefore allowing you to tailor your board to your needs.
Post mounted noticeboards feature either one or two legs and are often seen in schools, churches, community centres, nurseries and more. They can be customised with a printed header panel and allow you to extend your branding outside.
All of our notice boards – internal or external – come in a wide range of standard sizes, but most can be adapted to a bespoke size if need be.
