Event Shelters

Our event shelters are designed to offer shade from the sun, and shelter from gentle rain or drizzle; for temporary outdoor use only. They should be deconstructed immediately and packed away safely if the weather changes to heavy rain or high winds.  If left out in rain for extended periods of time the water-resistant canopy can become saturated and begin to leak. 

Our event shelters are designed to withstand winds of up to Beaufort scale 4 (13-18mph/21-29kph approx) when pegged into the ground or weighed down, with no side ‘walls’ fixed in place. How well the structure holds up in the wind will vary, this is dependent upon the ground into which you have fixed the pegs and how many ‘walls’ are in place. While our event shelters have been tested within these parameters, we recommend taking down your structure immediately during inclement weather to prevent damage or injury.

Our printed gazebo event shelters fabric panels can be machine washed on a delicate 30° wash cycle thanks to the durability of the dye-sublimation print process. For the larger tent sizes, the canvases may be too large to fit in either residential or commercial washing machines, in which case, like our inflatable event shelters, the fabric can be sponged down with warm soapy water.

Most event shelters can be erected by just two people in a matter of minutes. The first step is to set the aluminium frame upright and release it until it unfolds into the correct position. Next, you will need to stretch the branded canopy over the frame and secure it over each corner with the Velcro tabs and tie-straps provided. If you have additional ‘wall’ panels, you can then attach these to the frame using the Velcro tabs.

Our ‘one-pump- inflatable event shelter tents allow you to inflate all four legs through one valve. The constant and even airflow means the whole tent will rise and take shape at the same time for a speedy assembly in minutes. In addition to the one-pump system, many of our inflatable event tents have a return valve that ensures that if one leg deflates, the remaining three legs will not be affected and will remain inflated.

Yes, all of our event shelters are supplied with a high-quality carry bag included which stores the tent frame and canvas neatly. For products with printed walls, we will include a separate carry bag.

Every event shelter purchased from XL Displays is supplied with an anchoring kit which includes tent pegs and guide ropes to fix your tent to soft ground, including grass, soil and sand. Please note: this kit is not suitable for hard ground such as stone or tarmac, instead you will need to purchase a series of leg weights to weigh each leg of your event shelter down and prevent it from shifting.

Our event shelters start from £180 for a 3m x 3m gazebo, and range up to £6,677 for our top-of-the-line 7m x 7m branded inflatable one-pump X-Gloo tent - all kits include frames, canopies, ground pegs, guide ropes and a carry bag.

All of our outdoor event shelters can be fully printed with your company logo, artwork or design, so your stand will be seen from all angles at any outdoor exhibition. Our printed gazebos are made from 195gsm polyester tent fabric which is waterproof and has a B1 fire retardant certification.

Our inflatable tents are made with a strong nylon and printable polyester material which is waterproof, fire retardant (B1 certified) and UV resistant. You can either provide print-ready artwork using the artwork templates provided on each product page, alternately, our in-house graphic design team can help create a design for you.
