The one-piece fabric sock slides over the top of the frame to reveal a seamless and high definition banner stand. Fabric banners are a more premium alternative to traditional roller banners.

How Are Roller Banners Made?

Here at XL Displays, all of the hardware for our roller banners is genuine Ultima® Displays UK hardware. We never sell cheap, low quality imported banner stands.

Each banner is manufactured using durable, high-grade aluminium. By using an aluminium base, the frame is stable enough to support the graphic whilst remaining lightweight portable.

We print the graphics in-house at our production facility in Peterborough to 1440 DPI (dots per inch). This creates photo-quality artwork that is high on detail and vibrancy.

We use solvent-free, pigment-based ink which is printed onto 305 micron-thick, PVC-free polyester stoplight banner media.

Each graphic panel is hand cut with precision and laminated with a protective, non-reflective crystal matte laminate to ensure artwork won’t scratch, tear or peel.

Roller Banner Design

1. SIZE

The smaller your banner, the content your design should encompass.

In the same way, the bigger the banner, the more design elements you will need to incorporate to ensure there is no dead space.

2. COLOUR

Use the colours associated with your company logo to maintain a strong and identifiable branded presence.

3. TEXT

Avoid chunky paragraphs. Large amounts of text will put people off and look messy and overcrowded.

Anything other than your brand name, tag line, website address, phone number and social media tags isn’t needed.

5. IMAGERY

Low-res images will look pixelated and blurry once blown up to size, so make sure you use high definition photos that will still look clear when blown up to size.

Why Choose XL Displays For A Pop Up Stand?

We have over 20 years’ experience in the events industry and have been manufacturing roller banners just as long. Over the years, we have perfected the art of creating outstanding banner stands - down to every detail.

We manufacture all our roller banners in-house and utilise a strict quality control process.

By manufacturing each pull up banner in-house, we have ultimate control over the finished product and can ensure each customer receives a 5* pop up display every time.

Our quality control process is more rigorous than most as every display stand undergoes a test-build. Every product is built and inspected before being signed off and shipped out to ensure that the artwork is perfect and that the hardware is fully functioning.

Nothing that is damaged, scratched, cracked, unstable or low-quality passes the inspection. This means the end user will never receive a sub-par display.

In addition, manufacturing banner stands in-house allows us to reduce our production costs which, in turn, allows us to pass on the savings to our customers.

We use a premium hardware which, in comparison to many displays on the market, is by far a superior solution.

Our outstanding customer rating demonstrates the quality of our products and the 5* customer service that comes with it.
