We are looking for a creative and bright individual to join our budding graphic design team.
As a graphic designer, you will liaise with customers to establish a design brief and produce a finished product that reflects what the customer has asked for.
You will also need to check artwork from customers who already have their designs to ensure it is suitable for print.
We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and a real creative flair. The ideal graphic designer will have expert listening skills and will be focused on providing the customer with the most suitable product.
You will need to be able to build relationships with other departments to ensure a fluid transition from sales through to after-sales customer care; as well as developing your rapport with each client to increase customer retention rates.
The suitable candidate will be prepared to go the extra mile for each customer in order to grow the company - as well as their own career within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and receive comprehensive design briefs from clients
- Listen to each customer and develop a suitable design based on their needs
- Download, check and Preflight client artwork prior to sending it to print
- Liaise with other departments to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery
Ideally, you will have a basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, but we provide each new team member with extensive on-the-job training, and so whilst previous graphic design experience is desired, it is by no means essential.
