Feather flags are suitable for many types of events and exhibitions including festivals, sporting events, conferences, trade fairs and motorsport events. They are also a popular choice for the front of businesses, car showrooms and forecourt use. First you must choose the kind of base that works best for the location where you intend to set up your flag. Choose between a large or small water base, cross base with a weighted ring, drive on car foot or a ground spike, plastic ground stake, stackable water base, wall mount, small or large square base.

Unpack your flag kit, and join the poles together. Thread the completed pole through the designated pocket on the flag banner and secure the bottom eyelet to the pole using the toggle provided. Finally, slot the flag pole into your chosen base.

Yes, our promotional printed flags are designed for outdoor use, so they are naturally wind resistant. With the correct base in place, our flags can withstand average wind speeds of 18mph/29km/h or Beaufort scale 4.

Our flag poles are made from a full fibre material which is strong, durable and flexible.

Any of our promotional flags can be used with car wheels when you choose the Forecourt Flag Car Foot Base. Simply drive your vehicle onto the foot ensuring it is on firm, level ground and attach your flag; the weight of a vehicle acts as an anchoring device, meaning the flag can withstand wind speeds of 18mph/29km/h or Beaufort scale 4.

The kind of flag base you should choose will depend on where you want to place your flag and the kind of surface this location has. 

Our large water base, stackable water base, small water base, square base, cross base with weighted rings and car foot are suitable for use in any location. Our ground spike and plastic ground stake are designed for use on grass or sand, and our wall bracket for anchoring flags to a wall.

The large water base is our most versatile base option as it can be used on both hard and soft ground, with all sizes of flags. It holds 30 liters of water, which provides the necessary stability for all printed flags.

Our popular event flag range consists of 3 shapes – feather flags, teardrop flags and sail flags. Each come in a range of sizes.

• Our feather flags are available in 4 sizes – Small 2.6m, Medium 3.2m, Large 4.0m and Extra Large 4.9m.
• Our teardrop flags are available in 4 sizes - Small 2.1m, Medium 2.8m, Large 3.5m and Extra Large 4.6m.
• Our sail flags are available in 3 sizes - Small 2.0m, Medium 2.9m and Large 4.0m.

Yes, our promotional flags are available with a double-sided finish. Double-sided event flags showcase artwork on both sides. Our double-sided flags consist of two pieces of printed flag knit material which are expertly sewn together with a liner in the middle, this liner prevents any show-through from the other side. The artwork on a single-sided flag will be shown in reverse on the other side of the fabric graphic. 

When left permanently in an outdoor position that’s exposed to the elements, a feather flag will last roughly 9-12 months. This time can be extended by keeping your flag in a sheltered position or inside. You should regularly check the condition of the flag to ensure there are no rips or tears in the fabric. If maintenance is required, dismantle the flag and repair it before reassembling it. 

We offer four sizes of feather flags, small 2.6m, medium 3.2m, large 4m and extra large 4.9m. Sail flags have a classic rectangle shape and come in three sizes: 2m, 2.9m and 4m. Teardrop flags are available in four sizes: 2.1m, 2.8m, 3.5m and 4.6m, and offer a slightly bigger space for promotions or branding.

With a single-sided flag, your design is printed on one side, so you will see the ‘reverse’ of the printed design through the other side of the flag. With a double-sided flag, a liner is sewn between two pieces of material which are each printed with your design, so your branding is always showing perfectly from both sides. 

Yes, our printed flags are weatherproof. The flag banner graphics are printed onto quality 115gsm flag knit material using a dye sublimation printing process that fuses dye into the fabric weft to produce vibrant graphics that last longer and won’t peel, fade or crack over time when exposed to the elements. For outdoor use, ensure you choose the correct base for your chosen location to maximise weatherproofing.

The best flag base for use on concrete is our Large Water Base. It is our heaviest and most durable base option, and it’s suitable for all sizes of our promotional flags - that includes teardrop flags, feather flags, crest flags and sail flags. It holds 30 litres of water, and when filled to capacity, it allows the flag to withstand wind speeds of 18mph/29km/h or Beaufort scale 4.

If you require a heavier base, the stackable water base can be stacked up to three bases high giving you greater stability, however, the larger water base provides more than enough stability for all flag sizes in normal weather conditions. 

Prices for our custom promotional flags start from just £78 + VAT for our Feather Flags and Teardrop Flags, and from £92 + VAT for our Sail Flags. All of our promotional flags are supplied with a choice of bases at no extra cost. Simply select the base which best suits your display application; choose between a large or small water base, cross base with a weighted ring, drive on car foot or a ground spike, plastic ground stake, stackable water base, wall mount, small or large square base. 

The custom flag is printed with your branding and artwork single-sided as standard. We do supply custom double-sided flags if you require different artwork on both sides of the flag banner.
