What makes the FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen ideal for medical environments?
FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen is covered with a wipable vinyl that is specifically designed for medical use. The Camira Vita vinyl is a heavy grade vinyl that is treated with an anti-microbial additive that works to repel microbes and prevent odors from building up. This makes it an ideal material for use in medical or healthcare environments, as it naturally fights the buildup of viruses and bacteria. Thanks to its smooth surface, it’s also very easy to keep sanitised and hygienic by regularly wiping it down to remove all traces of dirt.

The freestanding design means you can use this screen divider anywhere you need it. Finished with stabilising feet or round disc feet, you can use it to separate patients in hospital beds, waiting rooms, reception areas, family rooms and emergency departments.

How is the FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen made?
The FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen is constructed with an internal panel of 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces adhered (using water based adhesive) around 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore. This is then covered with a layer of Camira Vita vinyl (available in 13 different colours) and finished with a 20mm (h) x 20.5mm (w) tensile strength aluminium frame epoxy powder coated in a silver or white finish. Every surface on the FRONTIER® Medical can be wiped clean and sanitised. 

Is FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen fire-rated and certified?
Yes, the Camira Vita vinyl has achieved the following fire-rating certifications: EN 1021 - 1&2 (cigarette & match), BS 7176 Low Hazard, BS 5852 Ignition Source 5, BS 7176 Medium Hazard, BS 5852 Ignition Source 7 (with interliner), UNI 9175 Classe 1 IM, The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (Domestic Cigarette and Match), IMO FTP Code (Part 8). In addition, it also has an abrasion resistance heavy duty / 5-year guarantee ISO 5470-2 100,000 rubs (Grade 2 minimum).

Can FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen be linked together?
Yes, the FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screens are supplied with two PVC strips that double up as finishing strips (if not linked) or 2x inline linking strips. The linking strips can be used to join two free-standing partitions together in a straight line. If you wish to use FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen to build mini cubicles a junction post can be added that allows you to link 2, 3 or 4 medical partitions together in a 90-degree angle, t-shape or cross configuration. 

What medical screen sizes are available?
You can choose between three heights (1400mm, 1600mm, 1800mm) and six possible widths (800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm & 1800mm) for your freestanding medical screen.

How do you clean the FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Freestanding Divider Screen?
Cleaning your FRONTIER® medical screen is easy; simply wipe down the surfaces using antibacterial wipes, medical-grade cleansers or a diluted bleach solution. Ensure they are cleaned regularly, ideally between each patient, to ensure a hygienic and safe environment.
