Are the FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Dividers Designed medical environments?
The FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Dividers are practical and effective partition for medical environments thanks to the healthcare grade vinyl used on the screens. The vinyl is treated with an anti-microbial additive that works to repel microbes and prevent odors from building up helping to keep healthcare environments sterile and clean. Heavy-duty and durable, it’s an ideal material for use in medical settings such as hospitals, GP surgeries, dentists, opticians, urgent care centers, care homes and any other facility that requires a high level of hygiene standard. As it naturally fights the buildup of viruses and bacteria thanks to its smooth surface, it’s very easy to sanitise by regularly wiping it down to remove all traces of dirt. 

These wipe-clean hospital desk divider screens are designed to divide up desk banks; ideal for use on ward reception desks, meeting areas, seating areas and consulting rooms, but they can be used in other working environments, too.

What are the FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Dividers made of?
The internal structure of these desk divider panels is a 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore, covered on either side with 2.5mm MDF panels and finished with a layer of Camira Vita vinyl (available in 13 different colours) before a 20mm (h) x 20.5mm (w) tensile strength aluminium frame epoxy powder coated in a silver or white is added. All surfaces of the FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Dividers are wipable and hygienic. 

Can you link multiple medical screens together? 
Each FRONTIER® medical desk screen is supplied with 2x PVC strips that slide into the aluminium profile to provide a flush finish. To join two desk partitions together in a straight line, you can use the finishing strips and slide them into the aluminium profile (of both screens) when they are placed next to each other. If you wish to join 2, 3 or 4 desk screens together on a bank of desks you will need to add a junction post. The junction post links multiple screens together at a 90-degree angle for a T or cross-configuration.

Are FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Dividers fire retardant?
Yes, the  FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Dividers are fire-rated to high standards: EN 1021 - 1&2 (cigarette & match), BS 7176 Low Hazard, BS 5852 Ignition Source 5, BS 7176 Medium Hazard, BS 5852 Ignition Source 7 (with interliner), UNI 9175 Classe 1 IM, The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (Domestic Cigarette and Match), IMO FTP Code (Part 8). 

How do I know which size of FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Divider I need?
First, you need to measure your desk for a desk screen. We have a helpful guide to give you step-by-step instructions on how to do this. Then, you can choose between two desk divider heights (380mm, 480mm) and six divider widths (800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm & 1800mm). Your desk divider screen will be supplied with two or three colour-matched sliding brackets (depending on divider size) to fit your panel to your desktop. The brackets fit desks 17-33mm thick as standard - if your desk or surface is thinner or thicker than this, please speak to our team about alternative options, we can supply bespoke clamps for any size desk. 

The desk screen brackets slide over the edge of the desk to hold the partition in place. The sliding clamps enable you to adjust the position anywhere along the bottom of the frame to avoid obstructions such as table legs or part of the table frame.

Can FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Divider be sanitised?
FRONTIER® Medical Anti-Microbial Desk Screen Dividers are quick and easy task to sanitise. You can use antibacterial wipes, medical-grade cleansers or a diluted bleach solution to wipe the vinyl surfaces to remove all traces of dirt, viruses and bacteria. The hardwearing vinyl can be sanitsed multiple times throughout the day without the risk of damage.
