What are the FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screens made of?
The FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screens are referred to as ‘part-glazed’ as they feature an upper panel made from high-quality Perspex®. This material is a popular choice for office partitions, particularly for social distancing requirements, as it’s non-porous and easy to sanitise. In addition, whether you choose a clear or frosted finish, it allows light to penetrate, keeping your office feeling light and bright.

The lower part of the FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screen is a traditional fabric office screen. This is made using a 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore covered with 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces. Finally, a layer of fire-rated Macflex fabric (in a choice of 8 colour options) is applied on either side.

Each screen is finished with a 30mm thick full aluminium frame in silver or white. Choose from stabilising feet or round disc feet. 

What's included with FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screens?
Each  FRONTIER® office partition is supplied with 2x finishing strips which also double up as rigid inline linking strips if you want to join two screens together. The inline linking strip means you can join two screens together in a straight line. A junction post is available if you wish to join 2, 3 or 4 panel screens together in either a T or X configuration. 

Please note: two screens joined at 90-degrees using a junction post, won't require stabilising feet. The 90-degree bend will provide enough stability to support both partition screens. 

Is Maxflex fabric fire rated? 
The FRONTIER® range is upholstered with a layer of fire-rated fabric. The fabric used is MacFlex Mac-182 fabric; a 100% Polypropylene woven material that is fire-rated and certified fire-retardant to BS 476 Part 7 Class 1; BS EN 1021-1:2014 (cigarette); BSEN 13501-1 Adhered Class B,s2, d0; BS EN 13501-1 Un-adhered Class D, s1, d2. These certifications make our FRONTIER® screens safe to use in schools, libraries, offices and other public buildings.

What are part-glazed office screens used for?  
A part-glazed screen essentially gives you a 2 in 1 partition; totally opaque privacy at the bottom from the coloured fabric panel and a sleek, part vision panel at the top made from the Perspex® or glass. Whilst office screens can block light and give the perception of a smaller, closed-off workspace, part-glazed partitions provide privacy and still allow light and visibility in and around the office. They are often used to create mini cubicles, meeting spaces or individual work pods. They can be used to cordon off zones such a photocopiers and printing areas, help to reduce noise pollution, cover messy cables that are often located in the bottom half of the partitions. In addition, they can act as a social distancing screen with a wipeable top panel. 

What sizes are FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screen available in?
These freestanding part-glazed screens are available in four different height options: 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm, as well as six width options: 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm. The top vision panel begins approximately 800mm from the floor. 

Are FRONTIER® Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition Screens wipeable?
The upper Perspex® panels can be wiped down and sanitised and the fabric panels can be vacuumed and wiped with a damp cloth to remove any stains are marks.
