Half Vision Curved Office Screens

What are the benefits of part-glazed office partitions?
FRONTIER® half vision screens offer privacy for workspaces and meeting spaces but still allows light and visibility so that it doesn't feel too closed in. The lower, fabric-covered panel is completely opaque, offering privacy, while the upper panel (at head height) is made from either clear or frosted Perspex®. The Perspex® vision panels create an open feel whilst still providing cordoned off areas for private working.

In addition, they can act as a social distancing screen providing protection by blocking the spread of potentially infectious respiratory particles from person to person.

The shape of the FRONTIER® Curved Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partitions means you can link several of them together to form a ‘pod’ - a small space that can be used for meetings or private working. This is a helpful feature in large, open-plan offices.

What are the FRONTIER® Curved Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partitions made from?
The lower part of the FRONTIER® Curved Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partition has an internal panel construction of 2 x 2.5mm medium density fibreboard (MDF) faces that are glued (using water based adhesive) around 20mm recycled paper continuous vented honeycell beecore. Once set, a layer of fire-rated Macflex 182 fabric is applied on either side in your choice of 8 colour options.

The upper panel is made from genuine Perspex® in a clear or frosted finish. Perspex® is a stable, durable and practical material for use in office screens; it’s easy to clean and sanitise, and it offers protection while allowing light to transfer through the space to retain a bright and airy feel.

What is included with FRONTIER® Curved Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partitions?
Each FRONTIER® office partition screen is finished with a 30mm thick full aluminium frame in silver or white and is supplied with 2 x finishing strips that can double as rigid linking strips allowing you to link multiple screens together in a curved formation. Also included are two stabilising feet or adjustable levelling feet. Adjustable levelling feet can account for up to 35mm unevenness in your flooring helping to create a stable partition. 

Please note, if you are linking multiple curved office screens together you do not need to use stabilising feet, the curved shape provides enough stability for the 'pod' to stand. Adjustable levelling feet are ideal for ensuring the office screens link together if the floor is uneven. 

Are FRONTIER® screens fire rated?
FRONTIER® fabric office partitions are finished with a layer of MacFlex Mac-182 fabric. Available in a range of different colour options, this durable fabric also boasts a number of fire-rating certifications, making it safe for use in offices, schools and public buildings. The 100%  Mac-182 fabric is certified to BS 476 Part 7 Class 1; BS EN 1021-1:2014 (cigarette); BSEN 13501-1 Adhered Class B,s2, d0; BS EN 13501-1 Un-adhered Class D, s1, d2. 

What size is available?
We sell the FRONTIER® Curved Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partitions in four different height options: 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm and 1800mm, as well as three radius options:  850mm, 1200mm and 1500mm. The size you choose will depend on your specific requirements, for example, if you are working with round desks, you might choose to match the radius of your screen to that of the desk.

How do I clean FRONTIER® Curved Free Standing Part-Glazed Office Partitions?
Thanks to their dual construction methods the part-glazed panel screens are easy to maintain and keep clean. The fabric panel sections can be vacuumed regularly, they can be wiped with a damp cloth using soap and water (or use upholstery shampoo). For a deep clean you can use a steam cleaner. The upper glazed Perspex® panels can be wiped down with antibacterial wipes, standard household cleaners, or diluted bleach solutions to remove any traces of dirt, viruses or bacteria.
