3.2m Promotional Feather Flags

The 3.2 m Blade Flag kit provides a portable display solution suitable for a range of promotional environments. Each kit includes a full fibreglass pole, a custom-printed flag-knit graphic, your choice of seven bases, and a carry bag, all designed and manufactured in-house by XL Displays.

With their 45-degree angled bottom edge, Blade flags add a distinctive look to the traditional feather flag design, helping your branding catch attention from afar.

Easy to Assemble Promotional Flag Kit:
The fibreglass pole comes in four sections that slot together securely. The kit is supplied with a zip-up carry bag featuring handles, a shoulder strap, and dedicated pockets to protect each pole section. Flag graphics can be stored in a mesh pocket inside the bag, and the ground spike can also be accommodated if required, making transport and storage straightforward. Other bases must be transported separately.

Fibreglass Flag Poles:
Poles are made from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) fibreglass, combining strength with flexibility. Fibreglass is resistant to rust and corrosion, providing improved wind resilience compared to aluminium flags. The collapsible sections make the pole easy to transport and store while maintaining durability during regular use.

Heavy-Duty Flag Base Options:
The Blade Feather Flag can be used on a variety of surfaces. A ground spike is suitable for soft ground such as grass, soil or sand, while small or large water bases provide stability on hard surfaces, both indoor and outdoor. A drive-on car foot allows for secure anchoring on pavements or forecourts, and a large cross base with a weighted ring offers additional stability where needed. Indoor use can be accommodated with a square base, and a gazebo adaptor allows the flag to be attached to a printed gazebo. Printed Fabric Flag Graphics:
Promotional flags are printed in-house on 110 gsm recyclable polyester flag-knit fabric. The elasticated pole pocket (available in black or white) is reinforced and double-stitched for durability. A stitched toggle at the bottom of the graphic secures the flag to the pole hook, keeping it firmly in place. Fabric flags are printed using a dye-sublimation process that embeds water-based inks into the fabric fibres, producing full-colour graphics while retaining full flexibility of the material.

Weather-Resistant Outdoor Flags:
Advertising flags are designed for outdoor use in typical UK conditions, including moderate wind and rain. The polyester fabric is water-resistant, and the flexible pole construction allows reliable performance in wind speeds up to 18 mph (Beaufort Scale 4). Flags should be removed during severe weather. Branded Flag Customisation Options:
Branded flags can be produced as single-sided or double-sided banners. Single-sided flags consist of one layer of polyester, with approximately 80–90% visibility on the reverse side, where the print appears mirrored. Double-sided flags are made from two layers of polyester with a light-block lining to prevent show-through, providing a clear and consistent promotional display on both sides of the flying banner. For outdoor double-sided flags, a small or large water base is recommended to maintain stability.

Where Can Feather Flags Be Used?
Feather Flags are suitable for use at promotional events, exhibitions, trade fairs, festivals, sporting events, car showrooms, forecourts, and petrol stations. The flag-knit fabric is fire-retardant to DIN 4102 Class B1 / DIN EN 13501, making it suitable for indoor exhibitions across the UK and Europe.

Customers can provide print-ready artwork for review by our in-house team or use our design service. A proof is supplied for approval before printing to ensure accuracy. Alternatively, our in-house designers can create your artwork following your design brief.

Sustainable Fabric Flags:
Blade Flags are made from 100% recyclable polyester and printed with water-based, solvent-free inks. Replacement flag graphics are available for rebranding or new campaigns without replacing the full flag kit. Branded flags can be machine-washed, reused, and recycled at the end of their life.
