What is the sublimation printing process?
Sublimation printing - also known as dye sublimation - is the printing technique used to print fabric exhibition stands. First, artwork is printed onto transfer paper. The transfer paper is lined up with display polyester which is fed through a sublimation printing calendar. Extreme heat and pressure are combined to force water-based to bond with the fibres of the display polyester; resulting in ultra-vibrant, photo-quality artwork that won't crack, peel or fade - even after being washed at 30 degrees.
