DIGNITY® Portable Folding Medical Screens are designed and manufactured for professional medical environments. DIGNITY® screens are portable privacy screens that can be quickly deployed within hospital wards, clinics, vaccine centres, ICU and surgeries to create privacy during treatments and medical care scenarios.
Protecting patient privacy and dignity is essential during intimate and private moments. The DIGNITY® 3 Panel NHS Medical Screen provides privacy in a hygienic, freestanding solution that is fully mobile and portable, utilising castor wheels. All metal construction is non-porous and prevents bacteria and viruses from settling, minimising infection transfer and cross-contamination between locations.
Privacy panels are CNC cut composite aluminium with a gloss white finish. The divider screen frame is powder-coated steel with a pearl white finish giving a modern, fresh look that compliments any hospital décor and related equipment. Non-marking castor wheels with braking locks complete the screens.
Hygienic and Cost-Effective
Medical screens and curtains made from fabric material can have anti-microbial properties due to silver weave within the fabric, however, in long-term use this can degrade and harbour bacteria. If porous materials such as cardboard or wood are used as a centre core it increases the potential for ingress, damp or mold, regardless of the outer HPL laminate surface material.
Traditional bed curtains are simpler but require washing and laundering which increases long-term cost. In critical environments such as ICU or infection control wards track curtains will be changed per shift, or often per patient. This adds complexity and cost that the DIGNITY® Medical Screens aim to avoid.
Aluminium gloss panels are simple to sanitise and disinfect and stand up to severe contamination from blood, fluids and fecal matter in demanding medical environments.
Mobile and Convenient
Freestanding and mobile - deploy medical screens where you need them quickly and efficiently. Each panel is 650mm wide and DIGNITY® screens can be folded flat together for storage and easy transportation. When fully open DIGNITY® 3 Panel Screens fold out to a 2000mm straight divider, giving privacy for the length of a care bed or ward stretcher.
Wheels can be locked via braked castors for a semi-permanent room divider and simply folded back when not needed. Mobile screens add flexibility to Hospital wards as they are not constrained to ceiling tracks like privacy curtains or more expensive wall mounted, permanent solutions.
