What is 10mm Foamex?
Foamex is a 10mm thick, semi-rigid board made from compressed PVC foam. It is lightweight, strong and durable, weatherproof, fade-resistant, affordable and cost-effective, recyclable and fire-rated. You can use it in many different ways; as information boards, for shop fitting, wall cladding & partitioning, sale signs, exhibition shell scheme graphics, store displays, event signage, hoardings, point-of-sale signs - almost any kind of advertising or information display you can imagine.

What size are 10mm Foamex Sheets? 
10mm Printed Foamex Sheets can be cut and printed to any size. You can purchase our standard and most popular poster sizes which include A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0. Add hook and loop fastening for quick and easy mounting. The maximum size Foamex sheet we can provide is 2400mm x 1200mm. For large sheets over 1000mm x 1000mm we recommend drilling holes and using screws to wall mount. The size of the board may be too heavy for hook and loop to safely secure to a wall. 

Are 10mm Foamex Signs suitable for outdoor use? 
The high-quality UV ink printing process we use means that your board can be safely displayed outside in the elements without fading or running. Unlike wood, Foamex doesn't rot or swell in wet weather making Foamex Signs a popular choice for events, exhibitions, hospitality venues, retail environments, community centres, churches and schools.

How do I mount my Foamex PVC Board?
As they are lightweight but hold their own shape, the 10mm Foamex Signs are incredibly versatile and can be installed in many different ways. You can use them as freestanding display boards with wedge bases, mounted on a post or wooden stake for a front of business sign or estate agent sign, wall-mounted or ceiling hung. They can be fixed using screws, hook and loop fastening, or magnetic tape. We recommend using screws for large sizes due to the weight of the sheet.

For wall mounting, we recommend drilling holes in the desired location and mount using chipboard screws with a 3-4mm shank diameter. A 20mm margin should be left between each hole and the edge of the Foamex sheet with each hole roughly 500mm apart for larger displays. 

How do I supply artwork for my Foamex panels?
If you already have print-ready artwork you can send this to us via our Artwork Upload page. As the Foamex boards are cut to size we are unable to provide an exact print template. However, we require artwork to be the same size as your board with a 5mm bleed around the edge. We offer an in-house design service if you need help designing your artwork from scratch. Alternatively, we provide a free-of-charge artwork checking service for supplied artwork. 

Are 10mm Foamex Sheets fire safe?
The 10mm-thick Foamex boards are Class 1 fire rated to BS476 Part 7, 1987. The test produces a fire rating of Class 1, 2, 3 or 4 depending upon how far a flame travels over a surface. This means Class 1 is the best rating as it shows the lowest level of flame spreading. The 10mm Foamex sheets are safe for use in public areas where safety measures are required, such as schools, leisure centres, hospitals, public and community buildings.

How are 10mm Foamex Boards Delivered?
We use a standard courier service for 10mm Foamex panels. We print and dispatch within 3-5 working days on receipt of print-ready artwork. Additional delivery charges may apply due to the size of panels ordered, the number of panels ordered and geographical location as it may require a dedicated vehicle for larger boards.
